DG NCC VISITS PHHP & C DIRECTORATE TO DISCUSS THE ROADMAP OF NCC EXPANSION

Lt Gen Gurbirpal Singh, Director General NCC visited NCC Directorate Punjab,Haryana,Himachal Pradesh and Chandigarh (PHHP&C) on Friday and discussed the roadmap of NCC Expansion in respective States. The DG interacted with the Officers and Staff of the Directorate and Group Commanders of Punjab, Haryana, HP and Chandigarh.

On the occasion, Maj Gen Manjeet Singh Mokha, Additional Director General, PHHP&C apprised of Social Service and Nation building activities being carried out by the cadets of the Directorate. Active participation of cadets in spreading awareness on Government Schemes for Social causes and Blood Donation Camps conducted by them were appreciated by the DG. The DG felicitated meritorious cadets and Staff of the Directorate for excelling in various fields.

The DG visited the Sailing Node at Sukhna Lake run by Naval Unit of Chandigarh Group and witnessed Watermanship Training by the Cadets. He was also shown various Naval Equipment and briefed on the activities being carried out at the Node by Brig Harpreet Singh, Group Commander Chandigarh Group and Capt Tejinder Singh, Commanding Officer of Naval Unit.
