A team of Operations Cell Sector-26 of Chandigarh Police, under the direction of Sh. Mridul IPS, SP Operations, guidance of Sh. Jasbir Singh, DSP Operations and supervision of Inspector Sher Singh, I/C Operations have achieved success by arresting Proclaimed Offender/ person Ms Anmol D/o Lt. Budhram R/o 6520, Sector 56, Chandigarh Age 24 Years, who was involved in three criminal cases & she was also declared Proclaimed offender/ Person. Apart from that she is wanted in Case FIR No 75 dated 09.04.2024 U/s 174A IPC PS 31, Chandigarh.
On the basis of secret information, SI along with other officials of Operations cell succeeded to arrest the Proclaimed offender Ms. Anmol D/o Lt. Budhram R/o 6520, Sector 56, Chandigarh Age 24 Years from the area of the sector-56 , Chandigarh who is running PO/PP since 2023, in three criminal cases i.e 1. Case FIR No 185 dated 01.11.2019 U/s 406, 420 IPC, PS MM, Chandigarh, 2. Case FIR No 186 dated 01.11.2019 U/s 406, 420 IPC added 411, PS MM, Chandigarh 3. Case FIR No 269 dated 02.11.2019 U/s 406, 420 added 411 IPC, PS 31, Chandigarh, and she was has also wanted in Case FIR No 75 dated 09.04.2024 U/s 174A IPC PS 31, Chandigarh.
(SUBHEAD)During interrogation she revealed that, she along with her friend Manpreet Singh were visited at different-different jewelry shop as customer and after taking/ buying the gold articles they showed the fake transaction message to shopkeepers, by this action they have duped many jewelers/ shopkeepers.
