CHANDIGARH TRAFFIC POLICE ISSUED ADVISORY ON COUNTING OF VOTES

The Candidates, polling agents and officials on election duty are hereby informed that in view of counting of votes polled for Chandigarh Parliamentary Constituency on 04.06.2024 at 08.00 AM at Chandigarh College Engineering & Technology, Sector-26, Chandigarh to follow the following traffic and parking arrangements:

The Candidates and their polling agents will have a parking facility at 100 meters from the main gate of Chandigarh College Engineering & Technology, (CCET), Sector-26 at NITTER, Sector-26.

The officers of the Chandigarh Administration and media persons can park their vehicles by entering through Gate No. 2 at given specific places inside the premises.( The sign boards of the same are displayed.)

The officials on election duty would enter from Gate No. 1 of Chandigarh College Engineering & Technology (CCET) and shall park their vehicles on the right side, behind the basket ball ground.

Chandigarh Police officials who are deputed on election duty at CCET shall park their vehicles in the open space in front of Strawberry, and St. Kabir Schools.

Therefore, the general public is advised to avoid the road from Hari Mandir Turn, towards CCET and vice-versa and secondly the road coming from Sec.7/26 Light point towards CCET for traffic use.

The Candidates, polling agents and officials on election duty are hereby advised to acknowledge the same for their convenience and cooperate with traffic police.
