HIMMAT SINGH SWORN IN AS NEW CHAIRMAN OF HSSC, CM NAYAB SINGH ADMINISTERS OATH OF OFFICE

Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Nayab Singh, administered the oath of office to Sh. Himmat Singh, the new Chairman of the Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC), at a swearing-in ceremony held at Haryana Niwas today.

Sh. Himmat Singh took the oath of allegiance, office, and secrecy in the presence of the Chief Minister. He pledged to uphold the dignity of the Commission and ensure that transparency and merit-based selection remain his top priorities. Before his appointment as HSSC Chairman, Sh. Himmat Singh served as Additional Advocate General, Haryana.

Chief Minister Sh. Nayab Singh congratulated Sh. Himmat Singh and expressed hope that he would discharge his new responsibilities with full dedication and meet the aspirations of the state's youth. He highlighted that during the last nine-and-a-half years, the youth have shown full faith in the transparent and merit-based recruitment process of the present State Government and its other welfare policies. He emphasized that Haryana is the only state government that has provided jobs to youth purely on merit without “Kharchi-Parchi” (bribery and favoritism).
