200 PEOPLE GET TESTED IN FREE MEDICAL CHECKUP CAMP

A free medical checkup camp was organized under the aegis of Territorial Army Group Headquarters, Western Command, Chandimandir by Rotary Club Pinjore Hills and Women and Child Care Welfare Foundation Chandigarh. The camp was organized on the occasion of the Platinum Jubilee Celebration of the Territorial Army. This camp was inaugurated by Colonel Rajiv Sinha, Commanding Officer, 102 Infantry Battalion (TA) Punjab, , Kalka, District Panchkula (Haryana).

A general physician, orthopedician, dentist, acupressure specialist, gynecologist etc. were present in this camp. Free checking of blood pressure, sugar and BMI was done. Mammography service was also available at the camp. This camp was organized for the army personnel and their family members.

More than 200 people received consultation in this camp. This type of a health and wellness camp was organised for the first time and the officers of the command have expressed hope to organise such camps in the future as well. They said that this is a very good initiative for the brave soldiers and their families.
