In a break through, a team of Police Station Sector-31, Chandigarh achieved success by arresting the accused Harpreet @ Khushpreet @ Happy R/o Village-Malluwala, Tehsil-Zira, Distt Ferozpur, Pb age 23 years and solved recently registered case FIR No. 106 dated 05.06.2024 U/S 420, 467, 468, 471, 409, 120B IPC & 24 Immigration Act of Police Station Sector-31, Chandigarh.

Police said, the present case has been registered on ICMS complaints bearing No ICMS/2023/007137 dt 28.03.2023, ICMS/2023/032713 dt 26.12.2023, ICMS/2023/012448 dt 22.05.2023, ICMS/020836 dt 15.08.2023, ICMS/2024/001039 dt 10.01.2024, ICMS/2023/016237 dt 30.06.2023 PW-2022014465 dt 24.01.2022 made by Satish Gangurde R/o Nasik, Maharsashtra against G-9 Visa company, SCO No 102, Ist Floor, Sector-47 Chandigarh in which he stated that Mr Varinder, owner/proprietor of G-9 Visa, SCO No 102, 1st Floor, Sector-47, Chandigarh along with his employees had duped the complainant Satish Gangurde on the pretext to send him aboard i.e. Canada and had taken Rs 4,17,265/- from him but neither the alleged send him to abroad nor returned the amount to complainant so far.
(SUBHEAD)The alleged owner/proprietor of the alleged firm/company fled away after closing their office and switched off their mobile phones.
During investigation, it has been found that the said firm was not registered with competent autho rities and they also provided some fake documents to victim related to the process of sending him abroad. During the interrogation, The accused namely Harpreet Singh @ Happy was apprehended on a secret information from sector 47 Chandigarh and later on he was arrested.
The accused disclosed that the main culprit in this case is one Virender Kumar who is in his touch constantly on whatsapp and who is a permanent residence of a village in Distt-Amabla, (HR). He also disclosed that earlier this firm was being run by one Parminder Singh in the name of Golden Carrier. Later on Parminder Singh handed over the said firm to Virender Kumar who changed the name of firm to G-9 VISA in place of Golden Carrier and Varinder Kumar is still at large.
The accused was produced before the Hon’ble Court and a police remand of 02 days has been obtained for further investigation.
KNOW THE ACCUSED: The accused Harpeet Singh @ Happy S/o Gurcharan Singh, Village-Malluwala, Tehsil-Jira, Distt Ferozpur, Pb age Age 23 years yrs. He is studied upto 12th and doing private job.
