The Chandigarh Police is all set to implement ground breaking provisions of NDPS  Act aimed at disrupting and dismantling the drug trafficking network in the city. Objective is to encourage drug peddlers to cooperate and provide comprehensive and crucial information about the drug warlords.

The initiative will provide incentives and protection to those who come forward to help bring down the drug trafficking empire. To effectively combat drug trafficking, it's essential to address the deterrents
created by drug warlords vis-a-vis their employed peddlers.

In pursuit to completely eradicate the drug cartels Chandigarh Police appeals to drug peddlers who have been forced to become peddlers and want to come out of this menace to come forward to reveal complete information on the drug network. Those who will make full and true disclosure about their role in drug trafficking and identify their employers, the drug warlords and the network, they will be considered for providing immunity from prosecution as per provisions of sec 64 NDPS Act.

Further, they will be properly rewarded and identity shall be kept confidential. Help shall be provided to rehabilitate them in mainstream. By doing so, Chandigarh Police aims to apprehend the drug warlords, leading to a significant impact on curbing the drug menace.
