PAX DEPORTED FROM BAHRAIN. ENTRY WAS DENIED AT BAHRAIN AIRPORT., AUGHT DURING SCRUTINY OF DOCUMENTS AT IGI AIRPORT ON THE BASIS OF A FAKE WORK VISA AFFIXED ON HIS PASSPORT, ONE AGENT WAS ARRESTED EARLIER IN THE CASE., OUR RELENTLESS EFFORTS CONTINUE TO MAKE AIR TRAVEL SECURE AND RELIABLE.

Continuing crackdown on fraudulent agents, staff of PS IGI Airport arrested one fraudster Punjab-based agent namely Bikramjeet Singh @ Vicky S/o Joginder Singh R/o Village-Daulatpur, PO-Panj Garaian, Batala, Gurdaspur, Punjab Age 25 Years in Case FIR No. 571/24 dated: 8.08.24 U/s 318(4)/336(3)/340(2) BNS & 12 PP Act, PS IGI Airport, Delhi. He along with his associates arranged fake work visa of Bahrain on the passport of the pax for his journey.
The facts of the case are that on 8.08.24, one pax namely Rakesh S/o Harihar R/o Village-Kamalchak, PO-Roshanpur, Bhagalpur, Bihar Age 29 years holding an Indian passport arrived at IGI Airport from Bahrain as a deportee. During scrutiny of his travel documents, one work visa for Bahrain, affixed on his passport, was found fake. As the pax cheated Indian Immigration by traveling on a passport containing a fake visa, a Case FIR No. 571/24 dated: 8.08.24 U/s 318(4)/336(3)/340(2) BNS & 12 PP Act, PS IGI Airport, Delhi was registered accordingly and investigation of the case was taken up.
During course of investigation of the case, pax Rakesh was arrested. On interrogation, he disclosed that many friends of his village had gone abroad for earning quick money, so he also decided to go to any Arab country for better livelihood and met with one agent namely Abhinandan who belongs to his village. The agent Abhinandan promised to send him to Bahrain, in lieu of Rs 1.10 lakhs.
He deposited Rs 70,000 in the account number of the agent and rest amount was paid in cash. The agent further arranged tickets & Visa of Bahrain for his journey. The pax further revealed that he went to Bahrain from Delhi Airport but due to his fake work visa of Bahrain, he was deported back to India.
During course of further investigation, agent namely Abhinandan Kumar S/o Upender Parsad R/o Vill. Kamalchak, PO-Roshanpur, Bhagalpur, Bihar 28 Years was nabbed from Bihar and arrested in the case. On sustained interrogation from accused Abhinandan, the name of one associate namely Bikramjeet was surfaced who was found actively involved in this case.
During course of further investigation, agent namely Abhinandan Kumar S/o Upender Parsad R/o Vill. Kamalchak, PO-Roshanpur, Bhagalpur, Bihar 28 Years was nabbed from Bihar and arrested in the case. On sustained interrogation from accused Abhinandan, the name of one associate namely Bikramjeet was surfaced who was found actively involved in this case.
Several raids were conducted at the possible hideouts on the instance of accused Abhinandan but he could not be traced despite best efforts.
Based on an input, a dedicated team led by Insp. Sumit, Insp Investigation/PS IGI Airport, comprising of SI Tinku Shokeen, HC Visvajeet and Ct Rajnishwas constituted under the close supervision of ACP/IGI Airport and the overall supervision of the undersigned. The team was briefed properly and tasked to nab the absconding culprit at the earliest.
On the basis of local intelligence and technical surveillance coupled with sincere and dedicated efforts, accused agent Bikramjeet Singh @ Vicky S/o Joginder Singh R/o Village-Daulatpur, PO-Panj Garaian, Batala, Gurdaspur, Punjab Age 25 Years was nabbed from one of his hideouts in Gurdaspur, Punjab.
On sustained interrogation, accused Bikramjeet Singh confessed his guilt and disclosed that he has studied up to 12th class and in the year 2018, he visited Bahrain on work visa where he came in touch with some agents who were working as agents and used to dupe people on the pretext of sending them abroad. So, after coming to India, he started working as an agent to earn quick money. During his work, he came in touch with agent Abhinandan through one of his friends and he also started working with him on commission basis. As per the deal, he along with Abhinandan arranged tickets & fake Visa of Bahrain for the journey of the pax. The accused further revealed that he had received Rs 80,000/- in his account from agent Abhinandan.
Investigation of the case is in progress to unearth the involvement of other agents and to scrutinize bank accounts of the accused and to trace his possible involvement in other similar complaints/cases also.
