FEROZEPORE TRIPLE MURDER CASE : ACCUSED SENT TO POLICE CUSTODY, MORE REVELATIONS ARE EXPECTED IN THIS CASE: SSP SAUMYA MISHRA

The accused of the triple murder case, who had been arrested from Aurangabad city of Maharashtra on Saturday, were produced in the court today and were sent for the police remand.

The accused Gurpreet Singh alias Gopy Baba, Prince, Ravinder Singh alias Ravi alias Sukhu, Sukhchain Singh, Akshay alias Bagicha, Rajbeer Singh alias Daler Singh were produced in the court of Rachpal Singh, Chief Judicial Magistrate cum Additional Civil Judge (Senior Division) along with one other accused Daljeet Singh, who had been arrested on September 6 by the police. While Daljit had been sent for three days police remand, the other accused were sent for seven days police remand.

Before producing the accused in the court, all of them were taken to district hospital for the medical checkup

As per the information, after the incident, the accused fled towards Makhu area from where they reached Chandigarh. After reaching Chandigarh, they reached New Delhi following which they went to Nanded Sahib by train. From Nanded Sahib, they hired a taxi to reach Mumbai where they were nabbed near Aurangabad by Maharashtra police following the inputs given by Anti Gangster Task Force (AGTF) and other agencies.

Saumya Mishra SSP said that more revelations are expected in this case during the police remand. “As per the preliminary investigation carried out so far, the murders were carried out due to personal enmity between the deceased Dildeep Singh and Buvnesh Chopra alias Ashish and Harpreet Singh alias Happy Mal. Dildeep also had a previous criminal background. Efforts are being made to get the extradition of the main accused Buvnesh Chopra alias Ashish, who is hiding abroad”, said SSP.

On September 3, the accused had killed three youths including a girl while two others were grievously injured during indiscriminate firing by the accused in an incident which took place during broad daylight in the city area. The deceased had been identified as Jaspreet Kaur (26), Dildeep Singh (27) and Akashdeep Singh. The two other who were injured were identified as Anmoldeep Singh and Harpreet Singh.
