Indian Railways beat Bihar Players -11 by 8 wickets in the 29th All india JP Atray Cricket tournament played here today at Mahajan Cricket Ground, Chandigarh.
Batting first Bihar Players -11 all out 75 runs in 21.2 overs.Caption Inderjit Kumar Scored highest 31 runs & Sahaz Kumar scored 15 runs.for bowling side Indian railways bowler & IPL player Right arm leg Spinner Karan Sharma bowled excellent line & lenth & he claimed 4 wickets, Akshay Pandey claimed 3 wickets while Adarsh Singh, Akshat Pandey both claimed 1-1 wicket each.
Chasing the target Indian Railways batsman Navneet Virk scored 36 not out runs & Samarth Vyas scored 28 not out runs enabled Indian Railways achieved the target 77 runs in 10.2 overs with the loss of only 2 wickets.for bowling side Bihar team Akhat claimed 2 wicket.With photo IPL player Karan Sharma of Indian Railways (claimed 4 wickets) was declared Man of the match Award.Dr.Sandeep Arora gave away the Man of the Match Prize.
In the 2nd match of the day at TDL Cricket Stadium, Panchkula Punjab Cricket Club beat CAG by 4 wickets .batting first CAG Scored 164 runs in allotted 24 overs with the loss of 7 wickets. Varun Lavade scored 45 runs, Himanshu Rana Scored 33 runs, Sanvir Singh Scored 33 runs , Karan Kaila scored 17 runs & Gaurav Gambhir scored 15 not out runs.for bowling side pcc bowler Simranjeet Singh claimed 3 wickets, Dipin Chitkara claimed 2 wickets while Gaurav Choudhary & Manav Vashisht both claimed 1-1 wicket each. Chssing the target PCC team achieved the target 165 runs in 23.3 overs with the loss of 6 wickets.
Sahaj Dhawan scored quickfire 64 runs in just 53 balls including 1 six & 6 fours, Anshul Chaudhary scored 35 runs , Gaurav Choudhary scored 25 runs & Madhav Pathania Scored 16 not out runs for bowling side CAG bowler Prayas Ray Barman claimed 3 wickets , Sanvir Singh claimed 2 wickets while Debabrata Pradhan claimed 1 wicket.Sahaj Dhawan of PCC was declared Man of the match .
In the 3rd match of the day played at Mullanpur Cricket Stadium Haryana Cricket Asdociation colts beat Chhatisgarh state Cricket Sangh by 5 wickets.batting first CSCS team scored 218 runs for 8 wickets in 50 overs.Dev Aditya Singh scored 44 runs, Anand Rao scored 41 runs, Sangeet Soni scored 36 runs , Rahul Pradhan scored 29 runs & Aishwary Marya scored 20 runs for bowling side HCA Colts bowler Piyush Dahiya claimed 5 wickets while Vats & Lakshay Sangwan both claimed 1-1 wicket each.Chasing the target HCA Colts opener batsman caption Yuvraj scored brilliantelly 87 runs in 81 balls including 3 six & 10 fours & Srvesh Rohilla scored Unbeaten quickfire 65 runs in just 61 balls enableds HCA colts achived the target 219 runs in 37.2 overs with the loss of 5 wickets.
