Dr. Prem Masand, the precious gem of the Brahma Kumaris family, suffered a heart attack and left for the Heavenly Abode.
Delegates who used to visit Gyan Sarovar in Mount Abu and Shantivan in Abu Road, have always been eager to hear the voice of Dr. Masand. Leaving aside all occupations, people used to attend the session in which Dr. Masand was to deliver a speech.
Dr. Masand came in contact with the Brahma Kumaris during his studies at Indore Medical College in 1979. He served as a radiotherapy oncologist in the United States. After returning to India, he provided medical services in Delhi for some time and in 1994 dedicated his entire life to the services of the Brahma Kumaris organization.
He was living in the Shantivan complex of Brahma Kumaris for the last 30 years. He served as the Medical Superintendent of Trauma Unit of Global Hospital and Research Center Hospital, (GHRC) Mount Abu. He also rendered excellent services as Deputy Secretary of the Medical Wing.
He had given multimedia presentations in more than 6000 events at colleges, universities, medical associations, social organizations and seminars. After every spiritual session of Dr. Masand, people used to queue up to get video and audio CDs. He had travelled globally to empower and motivate masses in all spheres of life.
He had a special association with Godlywood Studios. He was always keen to contribute through digital media and was an integral part of the studio programs.
