BALRAJ GOT THE FIRST POSITION DEFEATING HIS RIVALS UDAY, AKSHAY, AND VINAY BY CLOCKING 2:33 IN A SINGLE SCULL RACE.

The 25th sub-junior Chandigarh State rowing championship concluded at Sukhna Lake on Sunday.
Dr. Anmol Rattan Sidhu senior advocate and former Advocate General Punjab President CRA, Rajiv Sharma Secretary Chandigarh Rowing association, Mrs Yashoda Dobhal joint secretary gave away the prizes. The weather was perfect for rowing with little breeze and choppy water.
RESULTS :
Balraj got the first position defeating his rivals Uday, Akshay, and Vinay by clocking 2:33 in a single scull race.
In contrast, Uday clocked 3:12 and clinched the second position and Akshay got 3:33 for the third position. whereas Vinay clocked 3:45 seconds and came in position fourth in 500-meter races.
In the sub-junior women's coxless four event Yakshi Janvi, Soumya and Sanjana clocked 2:16 seconds in 500 meters race.
In double scull events, pairs of Vinay and Akshay clocked 02:55 seconds in a 500-meter race.
