CHANDIGARH TRAFFIC POLICE ISSUED ADVISORY ON VVIP VISIT

in view of the VVIP visit on 16.10.2024, the general public is hereby informed that:-  
1.Traffic will be diverted/restricted on Dakshin Marg from Airport Light Point to Tribune Chowk, on Purv Marg from Tribune Chowk to Transport Light Point and on Madhya Marg from Transport Light Point to Dhillon Barrier during the movement of the VVIP. General public is requested to avoid the above stretch/road from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM and 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM respectively. 
2.Further, traffic movement may be restricted/diverted on certain road stretches in view of VVIP visit. 
3.In view of the above, general public is requested to adopt alternate routes to avoid any congestion/inconvenience.
4.Further, general public is requested to follow the Social Media Account of Chandigarh Traffic Police for real time updates on traffic. 
5.General public is advised not to park/ply their vehicles on cycle track/pedestrian pathway and No Parking Area, otherwise strict action shall be taken as per law and vehicles shall be towed away.
