Lala Lajpat Rai University of Veterinary, Hisar has won the 20th All India Vice Chancellor’s Cricket Cup T20 Tournament-2024. Chaudhary Charan Singh University, Hisar was the runner up and Panjab University (PU), Chandigarh emerged as the second runner up. The prestigious tournament concluded today.

PU Vice Chancellor Prof. Renu Vig presented the trophy to the winners at the Closing Ceremony of 20th All India Vice Chancellor’s Cricket Cup T20 Tournament-2024 at PU campus, here today.

(SUBHEAD)PU Registrar, Prof. Y.P. Verma, Director, Physical Education & Sports, Prof. Dalwinder Singh, Dy. Director, Physical Education & Sports, Dr. Rakesh Malik, Prof. Sukhbir Kaur, Prof. Devinder Singh, Dr. Amit Joshi, Fellows; Dr. Rajesh Kumar Jhamb, Prof. Gaurav Verma & members of non-teaching staff association and organising committee were also present on the occasion.

In a close final match, Lala Lajpat Rai University of Veterinary, Hisar won by 5 wickets. Sh. Amit Kumar was the Man of the Match in the final whereas Sh. Sanjay Gunghas of Chaudhary Charan Singh University, Hisar was adjudged Man of the Tournament.

Prof. Renu Vig appreciated the efforts of Organisers and the participating teams and congratulated the winners. She emphasised that the spirit and team work displayed during the participations should be made a feature of the routine work.
