After enduring 3 years of arduous penance, 37 well-educated youth, who completed their training at the BAPS Training Center located in Sarangpur, the holy place of the fifth spiritual head of BAPS Swaminarayan Sanstha, Pramukhswami Ji Maharaj, received Bhagwati Diksha from Mahant Swami Ji Maharaj at the BAPS Akshar Mandir in Gondal.
The youths included 1 doctor, 1 PhD, 4 with master’s degrees, 12 engineers, 18 graduates, and 1 other.
Deeksha Mahapuja was led by Tyagvallabh Swami and Dharamcharan Swami. Atamtript Swami, Atmakirti Swami, Bhakti Kishore Swami and relatives of these youth were present.
Addressing thousands of devotees who came on this occasion, Viveksagar Swami, Anandswarup Swami and Bhaktipriya Swami said that through the temples and Akshardhams established by BAPS in many countries of the world, people are being encouraged to live a clean life and connect with spirituality. The youths who have become sadhus today will contribute to this great mission.
Senior saints Tyagvallabh Swami, Ghanshyam Charan Swami participated in completing the Bhagwati Diksha ritual while Narayanmuni Swami conducted the stage.
