The Chandigarh Administration has issued permissions for the sale of eco-friendly green crackers, effective from tomorrow  i.e. Oct. 29. Designated vending sites have been established, and inspection teams are in place, as directed by the Deputy Commissioner, to monitor compliance and prevent unauthorized sales.

Citizens are strongly advised to purchase crackers only from the authorized vendors listed by the Chandigarh Administration. Any unauthorized sales will face strict action.

Additionally, residents are requested to adhere to the designated timeframes for celebrating the Diwali festival to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all.
