1 HP AIR SQN NCC KULLU UNIT TAKES MULTIFACETED INITIATIVES

The 1 HP Air Squadron NCC Unit has once again demonstrated its commitment to nation-building through a series of impactful activities that showcase its dedication to community service and cadet development.

(MOREPIC1) On concluding of these activities, Wing Commander Kunal Sharma, Unit Commanding Officer said that, “Our NCC cadets are the future leaders of our nation and through these initiatives, we aim to instill values of community service, teamwork, and self-discipline among them.”

He also informed that the 1 HP Air Sqn NCC Unit's multifaceted initiatives have cemented its position as a beacon of excellence in community service and cadet development. The special initiatives included:

*Swachh Bharat Mission*: The unit organized a massive cleaning drive, collecting 1.7 tonnes of waste and debris from public areas, with over 800 participants from various institutions.
*Dussehra Stall Exhibition*: Cadets showcased their creativity, inspiring youth to join the armed forces, and displayed an impressive array of aircraft models in the Kullu Dussehra festival, attracting thousands of visitors worldwide.
*Aero Modeling*: Cadets designed and flew their own model aircraft and Chuck gliders, learning aerodynamics, wing design, and flight dynamics.
*Communication Skill Classes*: Cadets honed their verbal and non-verbal skills under the guidance of President Awardee Mrs. Sudha Jamwal.*Rock Climbing Camp*: A 7-day adventure camp tested cadets' physical and mental endurance, emphasizing safety protocols and teamwork.
