MCM WELCOMES ITS OFFICIATING PRINCIPAL SUMAN MAHAJAN

Mehr Chand Mahajan DAV College for Women, Chandigarh, welcomed Ms. Suman Mahajan, formerly Head of Philosophy Department and Registrar at the college, as its Officiating Principal. Sh. H R Gandhar, Vice President, DAV College Managing Committee, New Delhi, Dr. Nisha Bhargava, Former Principal of the college, Members of college Advisory, and senior members of non-teaching staff were present on the occasion as Ms. Mahajan assumed charge as the officiating Principal.

All the members of the staff congratulated her for her new role at the institution that she has been associated with since 1989. Ms. Mahajan has contributed immensely in the sojourn of the college and served the institution with great dedication for 35 years.

Ms. Mahajan expressed elation at getting the coveted opportunity to serve the college in a new capacity and said that she is conscious of the responsibility that this position entails. She thanked the DAV College Managing Committee for the faith reposed in her and added that she will work to the best of her abilities to take forward the rich legacy of MCM, with commitment to quality and holistic education and keeping in view the DAV traditions and values.
