A ceremony was organized by Bhagat Singh Memorial Foundation at the Democratic Lawn of Lahore High Court Bar Saturday afternoon to commemorate the 555th birth anniversary of Shri Guru Nanak Dev.
Supreme Court Bar former secretary Raja Zulqarnain Advocate, Secretary Lahore High Court Bar Qadir Bakhsh Chahal, Istiqlal Party Chief Syed Manzoor Ali Gilani Advocate, Khalid Zaman Kakar Advocate, civil society leader Dr. Shahid Naseer, Muhammad Tauqir Chaudhry Advocate, Munawar Hussain Khokhar and others participated in the event.

He gave a message of humanity, peace and brotherhood and oneness. He prayed, fasted and also went on Hajj Baitullah.
Raja Zulqarnain Advocate said that Baba Guru Nanak studied all religions, travelled to many countries including Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Syria and China. Qadir Bakhsh Chahal, secretary Lahore High Court Bar, said that Baba Guru Nanak was the son, glory and pride of this land. Bhagat Singh Memorial Foundation ceremony is a message that we have not forgotten our elders. Syed Manzoor Gilani Advocate said that Baba Guru Nanak was born and passed away in Pakistan land, he is respected by everyone. People of all religions have rights in Pakistan.
