28-YEAR-OLD YOUTH MURDERED IN BHIWANI, HARYANA SIX MONTHS AGO, ACCUSED STILL AT LARGE

The lawyer and family members of the deceased held a press conference at the Chandigarh Press Club after no action was taken in the murder case of a 28-year-old youth who was brutally murdered six months ago in Kharak Kalan village of Bhiwani. Talking to reporters, the deceased's uncle Prakash, accused the SHO of Sadar Bhiwani police station of taking bribe from the accused.
During the press conference, the uncle of the deceased explained that on the night of May 21, some persons came to murder his nephew, following which they called 112. After this, when we went to Kharak Chowki in Bhiwani, the officers there did not register our report. He added that on June 10, his nephew (deceased) was doing electrical work in the house, when the accused attacked him with sticks and killed him.
(SUBHEAD)He said that after his Nephew’s murder he met IG, DGP, and several officials of Haryana police, but despite several reminders their requests are being neglected and no one is paying heed to their appeals. He said that the police administration is not taking any action in this murder case that happened six months ago, due to which he has no other option left except committing suicide.
Telling about the case, he said that his nephew Gaurav had a fight with the accused on a petty issue. Even after so many months of the murder, the accused are roaming freely.
He said that the police has so far detained 4 accused Shivam, Ashish, Ashu and Ravinder, while apart from them Pawan, Neeraj and Jhandia Pusghar, the three more accused are still at large. He also alleged that Govind, Sanju, Sunil and Kali Manoj had given them money to get Gaurav killed.
He said that a rape case was already registered against the accused Jhandia Pusghar, in which he also suspected the deceased to be a witness. However, a joint compromise has been made in the rape case.
The mother of the deceased said that her son has not received justice, and with the accused walking with arrogance in front of our house only rubs salt to their wounds.
