To felicitate the outstanding contributors to road safety, a special function was organized by the Road Safety Organization (RSO) Distt Panchkula & Traffic Police Panchkula, with the support of KS Group, Alpha Visison, Vasudha & Co., Alpha Events, at the PWD Rest House, Sector 1, here on Wednesday.
Road Safety Awards were given to individuals, organizations and communities whose remarkable efforts have helped in reducing road accidents and who have played an important role in responsible enforcement of traffic rules. Senior police officers Panchkula Distt were also present at the award ceremony. Sh. Rakesh Kumar Arya IPS, Commissioner of Police Panchkula was the chief guest, while Deputy Commissioner of Police Traffic Panchkula Sh Mukesh Kumar Malhotra HPS Guest of Honor & Actress Ms. Aman Hundal was also present. Police officers of Panchkula district of Haryana Police were also felicitated in this.
In his address, Sh Rakesh Kumar Arya Said, “Thanks to all the members of Road Safety Organization for holding this event. It is important for everyone to follow the traffic rules for safety on roads. People should not allow minor children to drive a vehicle.”
Ankur Kapoor, President, Road Safety Organisation, Distt Panchkula, said, “The Road Safety Awards ceremony is a significant reminder of our collective responsibility in making the roads safer for all of us and for future generations.
