UTTARI HARYANA RICE MILLERS ASSOCIATION SUBMITTED A MEMORANDUM TO  CM NAYAB SINGH SAINI REGARDING IMMEDIATE START OF CMR DELIVERIES (KMS 2024-25)

Face2News/Chandigarh

Uttari Haryana Rice Millers Association represented by Vishal Arora (General Secretary) and Rahul Aggarwal (Executive Member) submitted a Memorandum regarding immediate start of CMR deliveries (KMS 2024-25) to Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri Nayab Singh Saini at CM House “Sant Kabir Kutir”, Chandigarh.

Association also requested that adequate Godown space must be ensured for Rice storage, so that the CMR deliveries are not hampered. Vishal Arora informed that in the Previous season (KMS 2023-24), the substantial delays in the CMR deliveries due to shortage of space with FCI caused financial distress and mental agony to the Rice Millers.

The Rice Millers of North Haryana are interested to compete the CMR deliveries before 31st March 2025 and in line with the same submitted a memorandum today. Arora informed that the Association members have been interacting with the concerned departments and FCI at the local levels and have been requesting them to ensure adequate space for CMR rice deliveries. It is pertinent to note that the Rice Millers were initially not interested to do the CMR work this season (KMS 2024-25) due to the extreme difficulties faced by them in the previous season (KMS 2023-24). However, on assurance of the Govt. Purchase Agencies, the Rice Millers agreed to do the CMR work for this season.
