Under the leadership of Ruby Gupta, President of Voice of Women Chandigarh, several Hindu organizations and leaders staged a strong protest in front of the Gaudiya Math Temple in Sector 20 against the government of Bangladesh and acting head Muhammad Yunus on Friday. The enraged Hindu activists relentlessly beat an effigy of the Bangladeshi leader with shoes and raised strong slogans.

The temple spokesperson, Jaiprakash Gupta, informed that during the event, Dandi Swami Baman Ji Maharaj addressed the gathering, stating that ISKCON spreads the message of love, peace, and brotherhood, leaving no room for violence. He condemned the arrest of Chinmoy Prabhu by the Bangladeshi government as entirely wrong.

ISKCON Chandigarh head Shri Gaurang Hari Priya Das Ji emphasized in his address that ISKCON works globally for human welfare, and the arrest of Chinmoy Prabhu and the atrocities on Hindus in Bangladesh are part of a well-planned conspiracy. He urged world leaders to intervene in this matter.

(SUBHEAD)Ruby Gupta stated that India had gifted Bangladesh on a silver platter in 1971, with hundreds of Indian soldiers sacrificing their lives for its creation. Today, Bangladesh is crossing all limits of betrayal by committing atrocities against our Hindu brothers.

She called for an immediate end to this and announced plans to submit a memorandum to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, urging him to honor the sentiments of India's Hindu population and press the Bangladeshi government to establish law and order and end discrimination against minorities.

Rajiv Jindal, Managing Director of Ram Devi Jindal Engineering College, criticized global human rights organizations for turning a blind eye to the atrocities on Hindus.

The event witnessed a significant turnout, with participants raising strong slogans against Bangladesh. Protesters expressed their anger by showering shoes on the effigy of Bangladesh's leader Muhammad Yunus. Several local organizations, including Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, Bajrang Dal, Sanatan Dharma Prerna Manch, and BJP leaders, participated prominently. Women leaders from the BJP Mahila Morcha and ISKCON also actively took part in the protest.
