TAKING THE MATTER OF DELAY IN PENSION TO A DIVYANG SERIOUSLY, THE CABINET MINISTER ORDERED THE SUSPENSION OF AN INVESTIGATOR OF THE SOCIAL JUSTICE DEPARTMENT. HE ALSO REPRIMANDED THE OFFICIALS OF THE IRRIGATION DEPARTMENT FOR THE DELAY IN DEVELOPMENT WORKS AND DIRECTED THEM TO START THE WORK SOON.

Haryana's Energy, Transport and Labour Minister Sh. Anil Vij took a tough stand on departmental negligence during the Janta Camp organized in Ambala Cantonment today.

In the camp organized at the PWD Rest House in Ambala Cantonment, he heard the problems of hundreds of people and directed the concerned officials to take immediate action to resolve them. He said any kind of negligence in public welfare works will not be tolerated. He directed the officials to ensure that the problems of the public are resolved on a priority basis.

Taking the matter of delay in pension to a Divyang seriously, the Cabinet Minister ordered the suspension of an investigator of the Social Justice Department. He also reprimanded the officials of the Irrigation Department for the delay in development works and directed them to start the work soon.

On the complaint of Safai Karamcharis not getting salary for three months, he directed the Labour Department to investigate the matter and take strict action against the contractor. Similarly, the police were directed to take swift action in cases like theft, road accident, murder and fraud. He also ordered the formation of SIT to investigate these cases.

Sh. Anil Vij gave strict instructions to the concerned officials to resolve the complaints related to electricity, water, road and illegal occupation in the Janta Camp. He said redressal of all complaints should be ensured before the next camp.

Advice to farmers for peaceful demonstration 

Speaking to the media, Sh. Vij appealed to the farmers to protest in a peaceful manner. He said everyone has the right to protest peacefully, but it is not right to shut down the country or stop the trains, because it causes trouble to the general public.

In today's camp, Ambala ADC Dr. Brahmjeet Singh, DSP Suresh and officers and employees of various departments were also present.
