NGO TAMMANA BRINGS CHRISTMAS CHEER AND ESSENTIAL SUPPORT TO CHILDREN FIGHTING CANCER.

In the spirit of spreading joy this holiday season, NGO Tammana organized a heartwarming Christmas celebration for the residents of Hansraj Dharamshala at PGI, Chandigarh,  was dedicated to little children fighting Cancer & other long term ailments; bringing together their families who also go through a lot of struggle. PUNYA is the most looked forward to, distribution drive of the year. The team generously collected & distributed new blankets, toys , books & stationery kits for the NGO’s Annual event.

In addition, Woolen caps, mufflers, gloves and also fruits were distributed to more than 200 people including children’’, shared Founder President Isha Kakaria.

(MOREPIC4)(MOREPIC5)(MOREPIC6)(SUBHEAD)The main hall of the dharamshala, which houses long-term patients who stay there on a daily charge to avoid travel for long term treatments was transformed into a festive space including a Christmas tree beautifully adorned by the children who enjoyed decorating it the most.

“Our aim was not only to create a home-away-from-home atmosphere but also to provide practical support through essential items like blankets and toys that bring comfort and joy,” said P Varuna, event SPOC and member of NGO Tammana. “The smiles we saw today made all our efforts worthwhile.”

The celebration featured a special appearance by member Yuvika Murali, as the Santa Claus of the day, who distributed the smiley balls to children singing jingles together.

The families expressed their gratitude for the initiative, noting how not just they are ready to brave the weather now , but also how such events and donations help boost morale and create a supportive environment for both patients & their families.
