The Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) Chairman, Sh. Himmat Singh while addressing a press conference on Monday said that since assuming office on June 8, 2024, and the subsequent reconstitution of the Commission on July 18, 2024, significant steps have been taken to streamline the recruitment process in the interest of candidates.

He shared that this year, the Commission declared results for a total of 56,830 candidates, of which approximately 36,000 results were successfully announced in just 56 working days by the Commission.

Divulging the details about the Commission’s achievements and initiatives, Sh. Himmat Singh said that the Commission has utilized social media platforms to raise awareness among candidates and linked them with the Commission's official website. For the first time, candidates can directly contact any officer of the Commission via phone or message to register their complaints.

He said that the Commission strongly advocated for the interests of the candidates in court regarding the delayed recruitments.

Sh. Himmat Singh shared that a total of 266 cases were filed concerning the results of 24,000 recruitments announced by the Commission, and 418 cases were filed regarding the TGT exam results, on which the Commission is taking swift action. The Commission successfully conducted 28 exams in just 56 days. The remaining exams will also be conducted soon. The state has released the largest result of 24,000 candidates, shared Sh. The Chairman shared that compared to previous years, this year saw the highest number of youth being provided employment, with 56,830 selections.

Sh. Himmat Singh further shared that ‘Samadhan Shivir’ will be organized to resolve court cases. The provision for OTR (One Time Registration) for candidates will be introduced. He said that pending exams will be conducted, and remaining results will be declared. Coordination with departments will ensure that issues related to joining are resolved on a priority basis.

Sharing the details about these recruitments, Sh. Himmat Singh said in the 2015 , the recruitment was done on 2,780 posts, while in 2016, the recruitment was done on 2,229 posts, in 2017, recruitment was done on 8,403 posts, in 2018 recruitment was done on 20,141 posts, in 2019, recruitment was done on 34,649 posts, in 2020, recruitment was done on 8,694 posts, in 2021 recruitment was done on 3,651 posts, in 2022 recruitment was done on 16,366 posts and in 2023 recruitment was done on 838 posts.

Sharing the future plans , the Chairman said that the Commission has decided to make an annual exam calendar. Besides this, a Grievance Portal will be launched for complaints, where a specific time frame for resolution will be fixed, and candidates will receive updates via messages. If any candidate disagrees with the resolution provided, they will be able to file a grievance again on the same issue.

Sh. Himmat Singh further shared that ‘Samadhan Shivir’ will be organized to resolve court cases. The provision for OTR (One Time Registration) for candidates will be introduced. He said that pending exams will be conducted, and remaining results will be declared. Coordination with departments will ensure that issues related to joining are resolved on a priority basis.

Sh. Himmat Singh said that the Commission is making dedicated efforts every information should be easily available to the candidates and their complaints should be resolved sitting at home.

On this occasion, Commission members, Sh. Bhupender Singh Chauhan, Sh. Kapil Atreja, Sh. Amar Singh and Sh. Subhash Chander, Commission Secretary, Sh. Vinay Kumar, OSD, Sh. Shambhu Rathi, and other officers were present.
