February 02, 2025 07:25 PM

AS FAR AS RESIGNING FROM THE MINISTERIAL POST IS CONCERNED, I HAVE NEVER ASKED FOR THE POSITION OF CHIEF MINISTER OR MINISTER. EVEN WHILE BEING A MINISTER, I HAVE NOT TAKEN ANY OFFICIAL RESIDENCE, IF SOMEONE WANTS TO TAKE AWAY THIS POSITION NOW, THEY ARE FREE TO DO SO. IT MAKES NO DIFFERENCE TO ME. I WILL REMAIN AN MLA BECAUSE THE PEOPLE HAVE MADE ME ONE,  HAVE ONLY ONE VEHICLE; THEY CAN TAKE THAT TOO. EVEN MY WORKERS HAVE OFFERED TO PROVIDE ME WITH A VEHICLE, TO MAINTAIN THE SANCTITY AND PRINCIPLES OF THE PARTY, HE (MOHAN LAL BADOLI) SHOULD IMMEDIATELY RESIGN, MY CONSCIENCE FEELS THAT HE (THE CHIEF MINISTER) SHOULD COME DOWN FROM THE SKY AND  SHOULD SPEND TIME WITH MLAS AND MINISTERS, I AM NOT MADE TO RESIGN; I AM MADE TO MAKE OTHERS RESIGN, I WILL RAISE MY VOICE, AND I HAVE BEEN CONTINUOUSLY RAISING IT BECAUSE STAYING SILENT IS ALSO A CRIME., I  HAVE NOT REMAINED SILENT, NOR WILL I EVER REMAIN SILENT, BECAUSE THE PUBLIC MANDATE IS FOR WORK, AAM AADMI PARTY IS A CONSPIRATORIAL PARTY, IN 100 DAYS, CONGRESS COULD NOT ELECT ITS LEADER, NOR COULD IT FULFILL THE ROLE OF THE OPPOSITION. SAYS ANGRIMAN ANIL VIJ

Haryana's Energy, Transport and Labor Minister, Anil Vij said that "As far as resigning from the ministerial post is concerned, I have never asked for the position of Chief Minister or even Minister. Even while being a minister, I have not taken any official residence. If someone wants to take away this position now, they are free to do so. It does not matter to me. I will still remain an MLA because the people have made me one. I have only one vehicle; they can take that too. Even the vehicle was offered by my workers."

Referring to the allegations against BJP's state president Mohan Lal Badoli, Vij said that "To maintain the sanctity and principles of the party, he (Mohan Lal Badoli) should resign immediately, and I firmly believe that he should step down right away."

Regarding a question about the Chief Minister, Vij commented, "My conscience feels that he (the Chief Minister) should come down from the sky. He should spend time with MLAs and ministers."

Vij was responding to media persons' questions today in Rohtak and Gohana. In Gohana, Haryana's Energy, Transport, and Labor Minister, Anil Vij, received a grand welcome from Gohana Municipal Council Chairperson Smt. Rajni Virmani and her husband, BJP leader Inderjit Virmani.

Vij said that, "The reason I raise my voice is to ensure that the Haryana government functions properly and that the Chief Minister listens to the voices of MLAs, ministers, and the people."

Until the police prove him (Mohan Lal) innocent, he should resign: Vij

Responding to a question about the rape allegations against BJP's state president Mohan Lal Badoli, Vij stated, "Mohan Lal Badoli claims he is innocent, and even the witness says he is innocent. But until the police prove him (Mohan Lal) innocent—since he is accused under Section 376D—he should resign."

Even our senior leaders, like Advani Ji, resigned when allegations were made against him. He is not above them" – Vij

Vij questioned how Mohan Lal Badoli could conduct meetings with women, adding, "It cannot be said that women are banned from BJP while we are increasing their representation to 30%. But if a person is accused under Section 376, he cannot lead meetings. That is why I am saying that until he (Mohan Lal Badoli) is proven innocent—because even our senior leaders, like Advani Ji, resigned when allegations were made against him, and he is not above them—he should step down."

Reacting to Congress leader Dharampal Malik’s comment that if a strong minister like Anil Vij is not being heard in his own government, he should resign, Vij countered, "I am not made to resign; I am made to make others resign."

When asked how the public should feel when a minister himself feels helpless, Vij responded, "I am fixing these issues, am I not? I am not sitting silent, nor will I ever be silent, because the people's mandate is for work. That is why I will keep raising my voice, and I have been continuously raising it—because staying silent is also a crime."

Regarding the controversy over water politics in Delhi, Vij remarked, "Aam Aadmi Party is a conspiratorial party. They tried to manipulate the water issue, but it backfired on them."

Vij stated that "In 100 days, Congress could not elect its leader, nor could it play the role of opposition. The opposition will only make allegations and will never appreciate anything."
