The calendar reflects the university's celebrated heritage, dynamic evolution, and unwavering commitment to shaping the future through excellence in research, scholarship and teaching.

The calendar features stunning visuals of Panjab University's iconic landmarks, architectural marvels, natural landscapes and cultural events, each reflecting the institution's heritage. It is a creative vision of Dr. Jaspreet Kaur, Department of Botany and Dr. Gaurav Gaur, Centre for Social work, who conceptualized and designed this remarkable piece.

Their deep understanding of the university's legacy and a flair for artistic expression shines through every page, beautifully capturing the essence of the theme 'Upholding Traditions, Empowering Dreams, Fostering Excellence’ and making this calendar a symbol of inspiration for the university community the whole year round. Each image has been captured through the lens of Dr. Gaurav Gaur’s mobile phone camera, reflecting his deep appreciation for the university's architectural beauty, vibrant campus life, and timeless traditions, adding depth and meaning to the calendar.

The calendar was released by the PU Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Renu Vig, Dean of University Instructions, Prof. Rumina Sethi and Director, Research and Development Cell, Prof. Yojna Rawat.

(SUBHEAD)Speaking at the event, Prof. Renu Vig said, “This calendar is not just a collection of dates and pictures but a tribute to the enduring spirit of Panjab University. It embodies our mission to honor our rich traditions, empower the aspirations of our students, and achieve excellence in every endeavor.”

Prof. Rumina Sethi, Dean of University Instructions said that “as we stand at the intersection of heritage and innovation, we are reminded that our institution's vitality lies not in its past achievements, but in its ability to adopt, adapt, and adeptly evolve. Let us harness this spirit of resilience and collaboration to create a vibrant future that is robustly inclusive, and radically transformative – one that empowers individuals, enriches communities, and inspires a world of new possibilities taking us to the frontiers of knowledge”.

Prof. Yojna Rawat commented that this calendar not only marks time but also tells the story of Panjab University's rich heritage and forward-looking aspirations. She appreciated the efforts Dr Gaurav and Dr Jaspreet for keeping up this tradition of a dedicated table calendar to serve as a reminder of the university's legacy while inspiring the community to continue striving toward academic distinction.
