Cricket and cinema have dominated the country's Indian mindset. Corporate sponsors can play a pivotal role with their investments to promote this industry.
These sentiments were expressed by the well-known international level WWE free style wrestler Shanky Singh on the occasion of the launch of the song of All Day at the Chandigarh Press Club on Saturday. Under his new project Label 18 Production, Shanky Singh is providing a platform to young singing talents at the sidelines of wrestling these days.

Shanky, who is a veteran of more than 30 wrestling bouts in the US, believes that Punjab is unnecessarily infamous for drug abuse, in fact, there is more drug abuse in developed societies like America than in Punjab. And this is the reason why he is now motivating young talents to work in the entertainment world along with wrestling.He regretted that India has the highest viewership for wrestling in the world.
Despite this, freestyle wrestling is not getting that much encouragement. The Govt and broadcasters should also promote freestyle wrestling like WWE in the US. During this visit, Shanky will meet Sports Minister Dr Mansukh Mandaviya and put forward his proposal.
Shanky said that the entertainment world should also get as much support as the sports world because both these passions keep the youth engaged. According to him, only those who top the charts in reality shows get stardom while other participants are left frustrated.
Through his new project, he is trying to nurture such talents. He believes that if the youth are to be made addicted, then they should be made to with their passions, not of any other evils which harms the health of the family, society and the country at large.
