Sh. Nishant Kumar Yadav, Deputy Commissioner, UT Chandigarh, inaugurated the Document Registration System, namely, ‘National Generic Document Registration System (NGDRS)’, ‘Online Event Permissions System’ and ‘Online Certified Copy of Record of Rights’ in the Sub- Registrar Office, UT, Chandigarh.
The National Generic Document Registration System (NGDRS) is an initiative by Chandigarh Administration aimed to modernizing the property registration process. Through NGDRS, now online appointment can be taken, which reduces the need of in-person visits to the registrar office.
The system supports online payment of registration fees for making the process more convenient. Also, users can track the status of their document registration requests in real-time along with online delivery of Registered Deed. The system is now made available online through the portal https://ngdrs.chd.gov.in/NGDRS_CH/.
The ownership record of Revenue Department of more than 35,000 shareholders, the Online Certified Copy of Record of Rights (RoR) is now made available online through the website https://serviceonline.gov.in/, where public can apply, track and even download Certified Copy of RoR.
Further, Online Event Permissions System is now made available online through the website https://serviceonline.gov.in/, where public can online apply, online fee payment, track and even download final permission.
Currently, the Certified Copy of records of rights (RoR) of the revenue land and application for event permission are applied manually by the citizens. Now, services are available online.
The DC also took round of the Sub-Registrar office and directed the officials to ensure smooth working of the office.
Present during the occasion were Sh. Amandeep Singh Bhatti, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Sh. Naveen, SDM (Central), Ms. Khushpreet Kaur, SDM (South), Sh. Nitish Singla, SDM (East), Sh. Ramesh Gupta, State Informatics Officer, NIC Chandigarh, Sh. Vijay Bahadur Gupt, District Informatics Officer Chandigarh and other officials of Chandigarh Administration.
