CPL REVIEW MEETING HELD, CORPORATE ENTHUSIAST FOR TEAM FRANCHISES

In view of the Chandigarh Premier League (CPL) commencing from February 7 at Tau Devi Lal Stadium, Panchkula under the leadership of UTCA's president Sanjay Tandon, a review meeting was held at the UTCA office which was presided by League Executive Chairman, Dr Rupesh Singh.

During the meeting, Dr. Rupesh informed that corporate franchises are showing great interest in the league which is being organised for the very first time in the city. A total of six teams are participating in CPL which is being organized on the lines of IPL.

The teams will be selected from Senior, Under 23 and 19 probables. The selection of all the teams will be completed by January 25. All the matches of the league will be held during the day, while the final will be held on February 23 in day-night format. UTCA’s Secretary Devender Sharma, Convenor Daniel Banerjee and other UTCA functionaries also attended the meeting.
