POLICE NABS FOUR ACCUSED STEALING RAILWAYS GOODS VALUING 23 LACS, VEHICLE SEIZED

Police reported to have arrested 4 accused in case of theft in a company manufacturing goods for railways in the police station area under Baddi Police Station.

According to the information, Om Namah Shivay Enterprises' Quality Manager Manoj Kumar son Milkhi Ram resident of village and post office Amroh, Tehsil Bhoranj and District Hamirpur had lodged a complaint in Police Station Baddi that on 23 January 3-4 people in the company had stolen 29 sets manufactured by the railways, whose cost is about 23 lakhs. On this, the police started action by registering a case under various sections.

(SUBHEAD)After investigation in the case, Baddi police has arrested Mangal son Rakesh Kumar resident of slum Baddi, Akash son Ram Singh resident House Number-500, Ratpur Colony Pinjore, Tehsil Kalka and District Panchkula Haryana, Aman son Vijay resident Bangla Basti Old Bassi Road, Ward Number-11, Morinda District Ropar, Punjab currently resident of slum Manakpur Baddi and Mithu son Gola Ram resident Village Kotla, Post Office Chandi Mandir Tehsil and District Panchkula, Haryana currently resident of slum Manakpur Baddi.

Along with this, the police also seized the vehicle used in the crime and stolen goods worth about 16 lakhs have also been recovered. ASP Baddi Ashok Verma has confirmed the case. He said that the process of presenting the accused in the court is being implemented.
