EXPERTS DISCUSS INDIA’S NET ZERO 2070 GOAL AT URJAVARAN 2025

The Indian Society of Heating, Refrigerating, and Air Conditioning Engineers (ISHRAE) Chandigarh Chapter organized its flagship event, URJAVARAN 2025, at CII, Chandigarh. Focused on the Policy & Regulatory Framework for HVAC Systems, the event brought together experts to discuss sustainability, energy efficiency, and decarbonization in the HVAC and building industry.

The event was led by Anant Singh, Convenor of URJAVARAN, and Vijay Sharma, President, ISHRAE Chandigarh Chapter. Distinguished speakers, including Ashish Rakheja, Nishant Gupta, Vivek Atray and Ashu Gupta, shared insights on sustainability and decarbonization, aligning with India’s goal of achieving Net Zero by 2070. Sapna, Chief Architect, Punjab, attended as the Special Guest, while a panel discussion featuring Ar. Badrinath, Ar. Prabhjot Kaur, and Ar. Siddharth explored Chandigarh’s sustainable development by 2050.
