The Equal Opportunity Cell for Persons with Disabilities (EOC-PwDs), in collaboration with the University Employment Information & Guidance Bureau (UEI&GB) and the Regional Employment Exchange, Union Territory, Chandigarh, today organised an EmploymentRegistration Camp for PwDs Students at Panjab University. This initiative aimed to facilitate the registration of students with disabilities for employment services and career opportunities.

The camp took place at the EOC-PwDs office, 1st Floor, Guru Teg Bahadur Bhavan, from February 17, 2025, to February 21, 2025. It offered a significant opportunity for eligible students to register for employment-related services and gain access to career guidance, job notifications, and employment opportunities.

The registration process conducted through manual forms as well as via the National Career Service (NCS) portal, developed by the Ministry of Labour and Employment, Government of India. The initiative was open to PwDs students across various academic backgrounds and also included awareness sessions on available employment opportunities.

This initiative underscored Panjab University’s commitment to fostering inclusivity and ensuring that PwDs students receive the necessary support to advance in their careers.
