CONCERT OF YO…YO …HONEY SINGH, UT ADMINISTRATION WORRIED ON SECURITY, EVENT PERMISSION COMMITEE MEETING HELD

The Deputy Commissioner Chandigarh Sh. Nishant Kumar Yadav chaired a meeting of Event Permission Committee (EPC) at Sector-17 DC Office, to review and reviewed the security, safety, logistics arrangements and overall preparedness of upcoming concert of singer and wrapper Yo Yo Honey Singh on March 23, 2025 at Sector-25 Rally Ground.

The meeting was attended by SSP(UT), SSP (Traffic), ADC, SDMs, District Fire Officer, Officers from Excise department and event organizers of ‘Millionaire India Tour’ of Honey Singh. The meeting aimed to ensure a well-organized and incident-free experience for attendees while maintaining public safety standards. The organizers gave a detailed presentation of the preparation being undertaken for the event.

(SUBHEAD)During the meeting, the Deputy Commissioner emphasized that the organizers must strictly adhere to all conditions outlined in the event permission, ensuring they are followed in letter and spirit. He said that strict security arrangements in and around the venue be ensured.

An adequate number of CCTV cameras should be installed to cover every part of the event area for real-time monitoring and crowd management; security personnel be deployed strategically to manage entry, exit, and crowd movement; sufficient arrangements for drinking water must be made to cater to the attendees; adequate and well-maintained lavatory facilities should be set up across the venue to ensure hygiene and comfort.

Special emphasis on cleanliness must be maintained throughout the event; proper waste disposal mechanisms should be in place to prevent littering and ensure environmental sustainability; free movement of emergency vehicles, including ambulances and fire engines, must be ensured at all times; emergency response teams should be on standby to handle any unforeseen incidents.
