Chandigarh Police reported suspended three officers namely Inspector Jaswinder Singh (I/C DCC), Head Constable Satish Kumar (HC No. 911/CP) and Senior Constable Samundar (Sr. Const. No. 1441/CP), with immediate effect.
According to the order issued by the office of Director General of Police, during the suspension, these officers will receive the subsistence allowance as per the rules. Along with this, they have been transferred to IRB Sarangpur, Chandigarh.
This action is being considered an important step to maintain the disciplinary system of the police department. However, the reasons behind the suspension have not been disclosed yet.
