KALIBARI CELEBRATES BANGLA NEW YEAR WITH DEVOTION AND COMMUNITY SPIRIT

The Kalibari, once again came alive with vibrant celebrations on the occasion of the Bangla New Year which brought devotees across the region to seek the blessings of Maa Kali. The festivity was marked by deep spiritual fervor, cultural richness and social responsibility.

A special Kali Pooja was organized, filling the air with chants and divine energy as revered monks invited from various Ramakrishna Mission centres led soulful bhajans, Mangal Aarti, Ram Charit Manas Paath and Bhakti Geeti to enrich the spiritual experience for all present.

(SUBHEAD)In keeping with the spirit of social cause, Kalibari in collaboration with the PGI Blood Bank organized a blood donation camp which saw enthusiastic participation from the devotees.A total of 48 units blood was collected and donors were felicitated with a token of gesture and certificate from organisers. A general health and eye check-up camp was also conducted for ensuring essential health services to attendees.

To honor the cultural roots of the occasion, a traditional Bengali feast was served featuring authentic delicacies that brought a taste of Bengal to Chandigarh.

The Kalibari executive body expressed heartfelt gratitude to all devotees for their unwavering support and active participation, especially in the successful Pran Pratishtha ceremony held earlier.
