NCC A PREMIER ORGANIZATION MOLDS YOUTH INTO RESPONSIBLE, CONFIDENT, AND PATRIOTIC CITIZENS : BRIGADIER CHAUHAN

Brigadier Chauhan, YSM Visits Moti Ram Arya School Moti Ram Arya Senior Secondary School had the distinct honour of welcoming Group Commander Brigadier Vikram Singh Chauhan, YSM, along with Colonel Paramjit Singh Randhawa, VSM, Colonel A.S. Randhawa, and Adm Officer Major Chhavi Parikh for a prestigious NCC visit. Their presence left an indelible impact on the cadets, faculty, and the entire school community.

The visit began with a warm welcome by the Principal, Dr. Seema Biji, who expressed the school’s pride in hosting such esteemed dignitaries. The purpose of the visit was to introduce students to the larger vision of the National Cadet Corps (NCC), highlight its scope and relevance, and inspire future participation.

A special highlight of the programme was a heartfelt speech by senior NCC cadet Akshara, who passionately shared her personal journey in the NCC. Her words were filled with pride and enthusiasm, offering a true reflection of the transformative power of the Corps.

The achievements of the school’s NCC units (Chandigarh 1 Girls Battalion and Chandigarh 1 Boys Battalion) were shared through engaging PowerPoint presentations, spotlighting the cadets' exceptional accomplishments, rigorous training, and unwavering dedication. These efforts were deeply appreciated by the visiting officers, who commended both the cadets and the ANOs — Ms. Sukhpal Kaur and Mr. Manoj Kalia — for their relentless commitment and guidance.

Brigadier Chauhan addressed the students with a powerful and inspiring message, emphasizing the importance of discipline, leadership, character, and national service. He described NCC as a premier organization that molds youth into responsible, confident, and patriotic citizens. His words were echoed by Colonel Randhawa and Colonel A.S. Randhawa, who elaborated on the structure, opportunities, and vision of the NCC.

The officers also took note of the school’s modern infrastructure, praising it as highly conducive to holistic learning and youth development.
