In a  historic show of strength, hundreds of members from the OBC community stormed the Panjab University campus on Monday, demanding immediate implementation of OBC reservation in admissions and recruitment.

The mass agitation concluded with a unanimous decision: the OBC community will return in ten days to reclaim the Vice Chancellor’s office if no concrete steps are taken. The PU administration has been given a final window to correct its unconstitutional and casteist delays.

(SUBHEAD)The agitation saw participation from prominent leaders, including Ex-MP Kurukshetra Raj Kumar Saini, Chandigarh Congress President HS Lucky, Samajwadi Party leader Vikram Yadav, Former Youth INSO Leader Raju Pai, Punjab NSUI State President Isher Sidhu, NSUI Chandigarh Leaders Jatin Virk and Sikandar Boora, ASA Leader Gautam Bhoria, AISA leader Ayush Srivastava, AAP Chandigarh Unit President Vedpal Yadav, OBC Federation Mansa Leader Lal Chand Yadav, BSP Chandigarh’s Waryam Singh, Panjab National Party President Shinderpal Singh, Arun Kumar from Sector 26, Virender Saini of the Saini Welfare Association Panchkula, Professors Manjeet Singh, Dr. Kulwinder Singh, Dr. Vinod Chaudhary, Dr. Sudhir Mehra from PU Faculty, Sanyogita SC federation Muktsar, Vijay Bansal (former Chairman, Panchkula Congress), and High Court Petitioner Dr. Nirvair Singh and LikhaRam Budania leader OBC Jaat Rajasthan Association.

All speakers issued a stern warning to the PU administration: Any further delay in OBC reservation will invite an unprecedented mass movement that will shake the corridors of power.

Speakers invoked the legacy of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, denouncing the continued betrayal of OBC rights by successive administrations. They called for unified resistance from all OBC communities across the region. Participants traveled from Mansa, Muktsar, Kaithal, Delhi, and beyond to stand in solidarity.

The next agitation will be fiercer, larger, and unstoppable. The battle for justice has begun. Either reservation now, or total revolution! Dr Balwinder Singh Multani incharge OBC Reservation Implementation Forum (OBCRIF) concluded the agitation with these words.
