ASHIMA BRAR APPOINTED IN-CHARGE OF GURUGRAM, PC MEENA OF NUH DISTRICT

The Haryana Government has appointed Commissioner and Secretary of Cooperation Department and Managing Director of Haryana Vidyut Prasaran Nigam Limited, Smt. Ashima Brar as the in-charge of Gurugram, and Rohtak Divisional Commissioner Sh. Phool Chand Meena as the in-charge of Nuh district in addition to their present responsibilities.

According to an order issued by Chief Secretary Sh. Anurag Rastogi, both these officers will review vigilance cases in respect of projects costing Rs 25 crore and above, incidents of crime and heinous crime, and approval under Section 17A and 19 of the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988. They will also review the effectiveness and functioning of the service delivery system as per the provisions of the Right to Service Act, parameters of functioning of health, education and social sectors, obstacles faced by DETC in relation to taxes, GST etc. 

Apart from this, they will also interact with MLAs and other public representatives in the presence of Deputy Commissioner and Superintendent of Police. They will also visit one of the important sites related to the health and education departments.
