Mr. Raj Kumar Singh, IPS . Director General of Police, Union Territory, Chandigarh. reportedly  issued orders  after report of review committee re-instate Inspector Sh. Ram Rattan Sharma  and others with immediate effect.

This order has been issued on the  recommendations of the Committee constituted to review the cases of Police Personnel under suspension for their re-instatement, the following police personnel are, hereby, re-instated with immediate effect without prejudice to the outcome of criminal/departmental proceedings pending against them:
