AHEAD OF RAKSHABANDHAN, ONE DIED, THREE INJURED

Ahead of Rakshabandhan, a Ratta Tibba resident, Parminder Singh, who was injured in an accident near village Kundal earlier, died during treatment this morning.

Parminder Singh was returning from Abohar after taking his father’s medicine. His bike collided with a private bus coming from Muktsar. He was referred to AIIMS Hospital, Bathinda for treatment. Where he died today. He was the younger of two siblings and was the only brother of his sister.

This morning there was a massive collision between a car and a bike near village Seeto Gunno, in which the bike riding woman and her son were badly injured. The Road Safety Force team reached the spot and took them to the hospital, where considering their condition critical, both were referred to AIIMS Hospital in Bathinda. Jaswant Singh and his mother Sukhbir Kaur were coming towards the village after tying Rakhi to her brother in a village located near village Dabwali. When the duo reached near Seeto Gunno Gaushala, both were badly injured when they were hit by a Creta vehicle. The car driven by Sumit Kumar of Seeto Gunno was also damaged.

In another incident today, a bike rider collided with a car near village Bishanpura, injuring him badly. Rakesh Kumar was coming towards Seeto Gunno. When he reached near village Bishanpura, he had a massive collision with a car. Road Safety Force and 112 police helpline got the injured admitted to the hospital where considering his condition as serious, he was referred to Bathinda.
