ANOTHER CAR CRASHES INTO A HOUSE IN SECTOR 36

ACCIDENTS FREQUENTLY OCCUR HERE DUE TO THE HOUSE BEING LOCATED AT A T-POINT; DEMAND RAISED FOR SPEED BREAKERS

Face2News/Chandigarh:

Another car crashed into the residence of Dr. Ravinder Singh, owner of Mukat Hospital, Sector 34, located in Sector 36, Chandigarh, on the previous day. The car broke through the main gate and entered the premises. Fortunately, no one was injured in the incident.

Dr. Ravinder Singh said that his house is situated at a T-point, while Gugga Maadi and MCM DAV College are also located nearby. Due to the heavy movement of people and vehicles in the area, high-speed traffic is also common.

According to Dt. Ravinder Singh, around four similar accidents have occurred at his residence over the past five years.

Dr. Ravinder Singh said that, fortunately, no lives have been lost in these incidents so far. However, each time, he has had to spend lakhs of rupees on repairing his house as well as expensive vehicles parked outside.

He said that before a serious or fatal accident occurs in the future, the administration should take immediate preventive measures. He demanded that speed breakers be installed at the location, along with consideration of other necessary road-safety measures to prevent such accidents.
