ARCHITECTS FROM LUDHIANA COME TOGETHER FOR AN INSIGHTFUL EVENING OF DIALOGUE, LEARNING AND FELLOWSHIP, PANEL DISCUSSION HELD

Ludhiana witnessed an enthusiastic gathering of architects as the “Business of Architecture – From Designer to Entrepreneur” event concluded on a highly successful note, bringing together professionals from across the region for an evening of knowledge sharing, networking and camaraderie.

The event was graced by the presence of architects including Ar Nikhil Jindal, Ar Amrita Taneja, Ar Tarsem Goel, Ar. Jaideep Arora, Ar. Ravinder Singh, Ar. Vikas Sharma, Ar. Mani Talwar, Ar. Gurpreet Singh Brar, Ar. Palka Kaur, Ar. Happy Goel, Ar. Akshay Goel, Ar Mehak Arora, Ar. Ishan Singla Ar. Sanchi Goel, Ar Chanpreet Singh, Ar Ranjod Singh, Ar Vanshika Jindal, Ar Gagandeep Singh, Ar Vishal Jain , Ar Pratishta, among many other more distinguished members of the architectural fraternity.

The highlight of the evening was a stimulating panel discussion on contemporary issues shaping the profession, including challenges faced by architects, the impact of Artificial Intelligence, Green Building norms, and their practical implementation in architectural practice.

The programme commenced with a warm welcome to the dignitaries by Ar. Aanchal and Ridhi. The session was expertly moderated by Ar. Pooja Vermani, whose engaging style kept the discussion lively and thought-provoking. The panel comprised Ar. Varunessh Kumra, Ar. Vikram Likhy, Ar. Kavneet Grover, Ar. Arpan Aggarwal, and Ar Vivek Sehgal, who shared their valuable insights and practical perspectives on the evolving landscape of architecture.

The event was further enriched by the presence of senior architects Ar. Pritpal Singh Ahluwalia -IIA Punjab Chaper Chairman (2023-26), Ar. Sanjay Goel- IIA Punjab Chapter Chairman (2015-23), Ar. Rajan Tangri-IIA Punjab Chaper Joint Secretary (2023-26) and many more, whose participation added immense value to the gathering.

In his concluding address, Ar. Pritpal Ahluwalia delivered an inspiring message, encouraging especially the younger generation of architects to actively participate in the Indian Institute of Architects (IIA)—a prestigious professional body with a legacy spanning over 108 years and a respected presence worldwide. He emphasized the importance of collective growth, professional ethics and continuous learning through the Institute.
