AROUND 1,000 YOUTHS PARTICIPATE IN AGNIVEER RECRUITMENT RALLY ON DAY FIVE

Around 1,000 youths from Sri Muktsar Sahib Sahib, Fazilka and Ferozepur districts participated in the fifth day of the Agniveer recruitment rally held at Shaheed Bhagat Singh Stadium here in Ferozepur.

The recruitment rally for youths from Ferozepur, Faridkot, Fazilka, Muktsar Sahib and Bathinda districts is being conducted under the aegis of the Golden Arrow Division and Vajra Corps.

The rally has been conducted smoothly with coordinated efforts by the Army, civil administration, police, NGOs and local residents. A joint team of Army and police personnel has been maintaining round-the-clock security at the venue to ensure the safety of the candidates and smooth conduct of the recruitment process.

Abhishek Sharma, SDM said that the district administration, with the support of NGOs, has made arrangements for essential facilities, including drinking water, toilets, electricity, internet connectivity and medical assistance at the venue.

“Besides, arrangements have also been made to provide food, water and other basic requirements to candidates after they complete their physical tests”, said SDM

The coordinated efforts of the Army, civil administration and local residents have ensured the smooth conduct of the recruitment rally, while adequate facilities are being provided to participating candidates.
