He had purchased 25 tickets—priced at just Rs 12 each—for the Rajshree Lottery from the local ‘Manokamna Lottery Center.’ When the results were announced, his luck shone brightly; all 25 tickets won prizes of Rs 10,000 each, securing him a bumper total of Rs 2.50 lakh.
Raghav Nagpal, the operator of the Manokamna Lottery Center, said that customers at his center have previously won significant prizes, including amounts of Rs 9 lakh, Rs 5 lakh, and several prizes of Rs 1 lakh. Just last week, a resident of Muktsar won a prize of Rs 1 lakh. Nagpal explained that the Nagaland State Lottery (priced at Rs 7) and the Rajshree Lottery (priced at Rs 12) hold draws multiple times a day, offering the general public frequent opportunities to win big prizes.
