BHAVAN VIDYALAYA ALUMNI ASSOCIATION ‘BOSS’ GETS NEW LEADERSHIP, DEEPAK GARG APPOINTED PRESIDENT

67 UNITS OF BLOOD COLLECTED AT BOSS BLOOD DONATION CAMP

A leadership transition ceremony of the Bhavans Old Students Society (BOSS), the alumni association of Bhavan Vidyalaya, Sector 27, was organized at the school’s conference room. During the event, Deepak Garg assumed charge as the new President, while outgoing President Keshav Garg formally handed over the responsibilities.

The ceremony was attended by Bhavan Vidyalaya Director Education-cum-Senior Principal Vinita Arora, Junior Wing Principal Kunika Sharma, and Vice Principal Suparna Bansal. In his farewell address, Keshav Garg thanked all members and the school administration for their support during his tenure. Meanwhile, newly elected President Deepak Garg expressed his commitment to increasing alumni participation, strengthening ties with the school, and promoting social initiatives.

The new executive committee was also announced during the event. Abhishek Lubana, Arsh, and Anshul were appointed as Vice Presidents, Nitish as Secretary, and Adil as Treasurer. Saurabh Acharya and Siddharth Bansal were given the responsibility of PR and Sponsorship Heads. Tanushree, Govind, Yuvraj, and Agampreet Kaur were included as event coordinators. Alumni from various batches attended the program and extended their best wishes to the new team.

Earlier, BOSS, in collaboration with the Thalassemic Charitable Trust, PGI, organized a blood donation camp at Bhavan Vidyalaya, New Chandigarh. Parents, alumni, volunteers, and supporters participated enthusiastically in the camp, during which a total of 67 units of blood were collected.

The camp was organized under the guidance of Director Education and Senior Principal Vinita Arora and Principal of Bhavan Vidyalaya New Chandigarh, Inderpreet Kaur. Organizers stated that the initiative became successful due to their support and encouragement. BOSS Chief Advisor CA Keshav Garg, President CA Deepak Garg, and several other members also donated blood and encouraged people to come forward in the service of humanity.

The organizers expressed gratitude to all blood donors, volunteers, the medical team, and supporters, adding that BOSS will continue to undertake activities related to social responsibility and community service in the future.
