A blood donation camp was organised by the NCC cadets of 25 PB Bn NCC, Abohar, at Manav Kalyan Blood Bank to commemorate Kargil Vijay Diwas under the guidance of Col Rajeev Sirohi, Commanding Officer. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from 61 cadets, who collectively donated 41 units of blood. Ten Permanent Instructors (PI) staff members also took part in the initiative, underscoring the unit’s collective commitment to the cause.
Through this voluntary blood donation drive, the cadets and staff of 25 PB Bn NCC, demonstrated the spirit of service, social responsibility, and nation-building that forms the core of NCC training. They were given certificates after blood donation to encourage good social cause. The successful organisation of the camp and the significant contribution of 41 units of blood highlight the discipline, motivation, and civic sense of the participating cadets and PI staff.
The efforts of 25 PB Bn NCC, Abohar, in conducting this meaningful activity was appreciated. The event served as an inspiring example of how NCC units come forward to honour the nation’s heroes
