The CBI Court, Lucknow onTuesday, has sentenced three accused, namely, Vikram Yadav@ Vikram Kalia, Brijesh Yadav @Munna and Panna Singh @Paana to life imprisonment with a total fine of Rs.1.5 lakh in Inder Dev Singh murder case.
The instant case, pertaining to the murder of Inder Dev Singh, was initially registered with PS-Kaisar Bagh, Lucknow on 08.08.2002 based on a written complaint by the wife of the deceased. Subsequently, upon transfer of the case by Govt. of U.P. to CBI, the CBI registered the case on 04.09.2002 by taking over the above-mentioned FIR of PS-Kaisar Bagh, Lucknow.
After completion of investigation, the CBI filed chargesheet on 07.08.2003 against 06 accused persons, namely, Manna Lal Verma, Ved Prakash Lohia, Panna Singh, Vikaram Singh, Chhote Lal @ Chhotu Yadav and Brijesh Kumar Yadav.
The Ho’ble Court, after the trial, convicted three accused, namely, Vikram Yadav@ Vikram Kalia, Brijesh Yadav @Munna, Panna Singh @Paana on 30.06.2026 and sentenced them on 07.07.2026, accordingly.
The Hon’ble Court abated trial proceedings against Manna Lal Verma, Ved Prakash Lohia, Chhote Lal @ Chhotu Yadav owing to their demise.
