CHANDIGARH PHOTOGRAPHERS ASSOCIATION’S GENERAL BODY MEETING CONCLUDES SUCCESSFULLY

The General Body Meeting of the Chandigarh Photographers Association was held today at Lions Club, Sector 18, Chandigarh, with the participation of nearly 200 individuals. Senior photographers from Chandigarh, Mohali and Panchkula, who have achieved remarkable success in the profession, were honored during the event. Among them, the most prominent was Mr. Suresh Sharma (Indiano Studio), who has nationally acclaimed for architectural photography.

During the meeting, the Association’s General Secretary, Mr. Sunil Bhatt, presented a detailed report on the achievements of the Governing Body. The entire team is being led by C.P.A. President Mr. Saroj Singh Chauhan, with full support from founder member and Treasurer Mr. Subhash Bhatia.

All these achievements have been achieved within a very short span of just nine months, which is the result of the hard work of all members.

He stated that these achievements include completely updating the registration of the C.P.A, streamlining the Association’s bank account, arranging scanner facilities for direct payment systems, Bank of Baroda obliging our members by opening a zero-balance account in their local branch, increasing the membership of the Association, providing financial assistance for flood relief in Punjab, organizing langar sewa during the martyrdom week dedicated to the Chotte Sahibzadas and planning a state-level photo exhibition in the coming months.

He further informed that President Mr. Saroj Singh Chauhan has been appointed as Joint Secretary of the Photographers Welfare Association of Punjab, which is a matter of pride for the Association. On this occasion, C.P.A. Chairman Mr. Jai Pal Singh Garcha appreciated the work being carried out by the Association and encouraged the members to continue working with the same dedication in the future as well.
